Lace Chain Panel Ensemble

Supplies:
1 Skein Peaches & Creme™ Yarn
1 Pair size 7-8 (US) single point needles
1 Pair size 7-8(US) double point needles

Cast on:
Medium Cloth: 28 stitches
Back Scrubber: 22 Stitches
Notes:
Panel consists of 10 stitches. Best used with stockinette backgound. Tutorials for this pattern
demonstrate how to take this lace panel and make a cloth with 2-3 lace inserts.
Knit border of garter or moss stitch for 1 inch, then begin pattern.
Pattern:
Panel of: 10 stitches
5 Stitches of Stockinette Stitch at each side of panel
8 Stitches of Border, 4 sts at each end of the cloth.
** Beween the asterisks is the panel of 10 stitches
Row 1(RS) : B4,k5,*k2,k2tog,yf,k2tog do not slip off the left needle- knit the first stitch again- then
slip both sts off the left needle together,yf,sl1-k1-psso,k2,*k5,B4.
Row 2: B4,p5,* purl all sts*,p5,B4
Row 3: B4,k5,*k1,k2tog,yf,k4,yf,sl1-k1-psso,k1*,k5,B4.
Row 4: B4,p5,*purl all sts*,p5,B4.
Row 5: B4,k5,*k2tog,yf,k1,k2tog,(yf)x2,sl1-k1-psso,k1,yf,sl1-k1-psso*,k5,B4.
Row 6: B4, p5,*p4,k1 into first yo, p1 into second yo,p4,*,p5,B4.
Row 7: B4, k5,*k2,yf,sl1-k1-psso,k2,k2tog,yf,k2,*,k5,B4.
Row 8: B4,p5,* purl all sts*, p5,B4.
Row 9: B4,k5,* k3,yf,sl1-k1-psso,k2tog,yf,k3,*,k5,B4.
Row 10: B4,p5,*purl all sts*,p5,B4.
Pattern consists of 10 rows. Knit till 1 border distance away from
desired length, end on an odd row. Knit Border, bind off and weave in ends.
For Back scrubber:
Cast on:
22 stitches
Panel of: 10 stitches
4 Stitches of Stockinette Stitch on each side of panel.
8 Stitches of Border at each end of the cloth.
Knit 1" of border and start pattern. Use pattern above, taking out the k5 and p5 before the pattern in * * and inserting k2 or p2.
Knit till 16-19" then knit border. Bind off all but 3 stitches, knit Icord for 9" bind off and sew for handle.
Knit a second I-cord for 9" for cast on edge handle.
